meet the maker

Hi! My name is Christine, and I’m so happy to have you here. This project means a lot to me, and I really appreciate you taking the time to visit my website. I hope you find something that speaks to you!

My full time job as a NICU nurse is incredibly rewarding, but I also love to create. I taught myself how to knit in college, and played with it as a hobby on and off for a few years. A few years ago, during a very difficult and stressful time in my personal life, I turned to knitting as a way to unwind and de-stress when I struggled to do so on my own.

This inspired me to create something that I could share with other people- I wanted to use my creativity to make a difference and bring comfort to others the way that it comforts me.

the 'why?' behind KFT

Creating a positive space for anyone who feels like they are having a hard time, or life is a little too overwhelming (which, let’s be honest, life is hard, so when is it not at least a little overwhelming), this space exists to show you that no matter what you’re going through, you are not alone, and it will get better.

Here you will find the coziest handmade knits that are sure to brighten a dark day, and the best part is that a portion of each product sale is donated directly to organizations that support the LGBTQIA+ community and/or mental health awareness. Both causes are very near and dear to my heart, and I hope you will help me in my mission to bring a little more love and kindness to the world.

These products are made with a lot of love, and I hope that they can bring a little sunshine to your day.
