Q. I JUST PLACED MY ORDER! WHEN WILL MY PRODUCT SHIP?

A. Everything in the shop takes 3-5 business days for me to prepare to ship. I’m a one-woman show, so please be patient with me! Once your order ships, you will get a shipping notification and tracking info.

All US orders are shipped via USPS First Class Mail and should arrive 2-5 business days after leaving my home.

 

Q. DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

A. Not at this time, but maybe in the future!

 

Q. MY PRODUCTS HAVE SEEN BETTER DAYS, HOW DO I WASH THEM?

A. The short answer: it depends on the product and the material it’s made with!

All Peruvian wool and merino wool products must be spot cleaned with cold water and wool shampoo. There are several nice ones out there but I recommend this eco-friendly no rinse wash Eucalan. Lay flat and air dry.

All acrylic/wool blend products are machine washable, lay flat and air dry.

*Pay attention to the individual instructions on the product page when you purchase your item!*

Faux fur pom poms: These are removable on all beanies so make sure you remove before washing your hat. If your pom pom is looking a little sad and droopy, you can bring it back to life by shaking vigorously or quickly blowdrying it with cool air.

Faux leather tags: These are also removable, please remove before washing your beanie!

 

Q. WHAT IS THE FIT OF YOUR BEANIES AND HOW WILL I KNOW IT WILL FIT ME?

A. Every product has a measurement listed on the individual product page. I make a variety of sizes ranging from newborn-adult, so be sure to pay attention to the size you are buying!

  • Adult sizes fit a 21”-23” head circumference. 
  • Child sizes typically fit a 5-10 year old head. 
  • Toddler sizes typically fit a 1-4 year old head. 
  • Infant sizes typically fit a 6-12 month old head. 
  • Newborn sizes typically fit a 0-6 month old head. 

Keep in mind that the wool will relax and stretch once you wear the hat.

Q. WHAT ARE THE PRODUCTS MADE OF?

A. All Knit for Tomorrow products are made from either 100% ethically and sustainably sourced wool yarn, a more affordable acrylic/wool yarn blend, or (in the case of some of our scrunchies) 100% Pima cotton.

Faux fur pom poms are made from a polyester fabric and filled with a poly fill.

All home decor products are filled with a poly fill.

All tags are made from a faux leather fabric.

 

Q. WHY ARE SOME OF THE PRODUCTS ON YOUR WEBSITE PRICED DIFFERENTLY?

A. I wanted to provide both luxury, and also more affordable products that were accessible to everyone. That is why some of the same patterns/products are priced differently based on the materials they are made with- a 100% merino wool product will cost more than a 80% acrylic/20% wool product because of the cost of the raw materials. No matter what the cost or the materials, all products are handmade with love!

 

Q. HOW DO YOU MAKE YOUR PRODUCTS?

A. Every single product is handmade by me (usually with some assistance from my beautiful girlfriend who cakes my yarn skeins, weaves in the ends or puts tags on some of my projects) I always have my knitting with me so you will see me making products in the car, on vacation, on the beach, by the pool, but mostly at home under a blanket with a candle lit while sipping coffee and snuggling with my sweet rescue pups Nala and Pumbaa so if you happen to find a brown or white dog hair on any of your products- that’s just our fur babies sending their love :)

 

Q. I’M SO SORRY, BUT I NEED TO MAKE A RETURN/EXCHANGE. WHAT IS YOUR POLICY?

A. I’m so sorry that your product isn’t everything that you wanted! Unfortunately, at this time I don’t accept returns or exchanges.

Q. MY TRACKING INFO SAYS THAT MY ITEM HAS BEEN DELIVERED BUT I CAN’T FIND IT! WHAT DO I DO?

A. Oh no! Unfortunately, once the item has left the building, it is in the hands of the shipping carrier and out of my control. I would highly suggest talking to your local post office first to see if they can help you find it. If you still haven’t had any luck in 5 days, please email me at info@knitfortomorrow.com and I will do my best to help with the situation.
